Starting to look like a real kitchen

The last piece of siding is up. Br. Ross and Br. Owen came over wed evening and put it up. it looks great. Its already primed so I just need to paint it when the weather gets a lote cooler.

Dads foot is doing good. and I am feeling okay.

The east end of the house is completely painted and is ready to put up the trim around the windows. It is looking great.

I did the half marathon with Tori and Sally last month. I enjoyed doing it, I improved my time by ten minutes over last years time.

I got the eves and soffit and upper part of house primed today. It is looking better. Now I need

to put at least to coats of paint on it and put a louvered vent in. and of course the trim.

I have finished painting the siding in the U. I am now preparing the soffett and eves hope to get them primed this week.

Sally and I are doing block of the month at the Quilt Shop in Bandera. The weather has'nt been good for painting so I have been busy sanding the old wood rocking chair. I have almost finished with the sanding. Then it needs some repairs before I can put the finish on it. It should look really nice when I am finsihed with it.

Then I am going to refinish the kitchen table and chairs.

Most of the dry wall is up and the wood stove is installed and working. Thanks goodness it is really cold here- the heat feels great.

Wall at end of frig- The kitchen is all drywalled.

S come over today and helped put up drywall on the dining room walls. We did the wall behind the wood stove and the wall against the kitchen

Started puting up drywall on the kitchen wall today.

J & K came over on their vacation and helped put up the ceiling. It looks great. Will do the walls this month.

Top picture is back of girls bedroom-the next picture is the front of the house before the old siding was removed last picture is the back of the house after being primed and painted. Looks much better don't you think? Sally is coming over tomorrow to help prime and paint the front of the house. It will look great when the whole house is painted. The boys where a great help. And we really appreciate all they did.

Making progress on the house. The wireing is finished. The primer coat is on and ready to

apply the paint tomorow on the back of the house. The roof will be leveled shortly.

I planted to tomato plants in upside down pots so far the look great. they didn't even wilt and they have tomatos on them. the beans, okra, squash and cucumbers are up and looking good so far. My blackberries are doing good this year. How ever I don't have near as many plants that I used to have.

I have the pantry painted and ready for the shelves to be put in. Need to go shoping and deciede how I want them built.
